Programme overview
The Programme combines academic rigour with practical learning. Importantly, we take a broader view of the traditional accounting curriculum, with the curriculum redesigned to incorporate leading-edge digital concepts and data analytics. All classes are conducted in English* with a normative study period of 24 months.
Our programme extends an invitation to both accounting and non-accounting majored students to apply. It is ideal for applicants who wish to pursue careers in accounting, finance, banking, consultancy and management sectors.

Programme Concentrations
Professional Accountancy
The Professional Accountancy concentration is a stepping stone for future business leaders who both excel in the accounting domains and have the broad vision and skills to address the challenges of tomorrow’s evolving business landscape. This concentration meets those needs by covering a wide variety of contemporary accounting topics. By engaging in hands-on projects and case studies, students cultivate critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are essential for a successful professional career.
To qualify for this concentration, students require a minimum of 9 credits (3 courses) from the Professional Accountancy elective course list.
Accounting Analytics
The Accounting Analytics concentration equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively extract and analyze data, both financial and non-financial, enabling them to generate valuable insights for business decision-making. The Accounting Analytics concentration graduates have the preparation to excel in accounting roles that require strong analytical capabilities and the ability to leverage data-driven decisions.
To qualify for this concentration, students require a minimum of 9 credits (3 courses) from the Accounting Analytics elective course list.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen(CUHK-Shenzhen) was founded in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval by the Ministry of Education. The regular application CYCLE usually open on September 1st each year and CLOSED on May 31st of the following year. Applicants should submit THEIR application and RELATED materials via the online application system. Qualified applicants will receive AN interview invitation.
