Programme overview
Our programme integrates academic rigor with practical learning, with an innovative curriculum that expands beyond traditional accounting frameworks. We incorporate advanced digital concepts and data analytics to prepare students for the evolving demands of the accounting discipline. All courses are delivered in English* over a standard 24-month study period, ensuring ample time for relevant internships.
The programme welcomes applications from both accounting and non-accounting majors, and is ideal for careers in accounting, finance, banking, consulting, and management. Designed to foster versatile professionals, it equips students with the technical and analytical skills needed to excel in diverse, high-impact roles across the financial and corporate sectors.

Programme Concentrations
Professional Accountancy
The Professional Accountancy Concentration prepares future business leaders to excel in accounting while cultivating the strategic vision and skills to thrive in an evolving business landscape. Through a comprehensive curriculum covering contemporary accounting topics, students gain in hands-on experience with real-world projects and case studies, sharpening their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that are essential for professional success. Graduates emerge ready for dynamic careers in accounting, finance, and related fields, equipped to lead and innovate in a data-driven economy.
To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 9 credits (three courses) from the Professional Accountancy elective course list.
Accounting Analytics
The Accounting Analytics Concentration equips students with the expertise to extract and analyze financial and non-financial data, generating valuable insights for business decision-making. The focused curriculum builds students’ analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making skills, preparing them for careers requiring advanced technical knowledge. Graduates are prepared to thrive in data-intensive accounting professionals.
To qualify, students must complete a minimum of 9 credits (three courses) from the Accounting Analytics elective course list.

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen(CUHK-Shenzhen) was founded in accordance with the Regulations of the People’s Republic of China on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools upon approval by the Ministry of Education. The regular application CYCLE usually open on September 1st each year and CLOSED on May 31st of the following year. Applicants should submit THEIR application and RELATED materials via the online application system. Qualified applicants will receive AN interview invitation.
